This is a fun activity that I look forward to each week. Sometimes the prompts leave me “speechless” in that I can’t think of a reply. That is OK, though because reading the submissions of others is also a good thing.
This week participants voted my submission as number one. There is no way I was NOT going to reblog this. (I know, double negatives.) After I read the entry voted third, I thought the competition was over. I was working out a reply in a similar vein when eklastic got there first.
New prompts are posted on Saturday or however that translates depending on where in the world you live. Go over to the SSST website, look at the latest prompt, respond, and good luck.
Good Evening Storytellers,
Fridays bring the conclusion to the Six Word Story Challenge here at SSST HQ.
This week, I left you the prompt of SATISFACTION. Your stories told of relationships, triumphs and ‘ahhhh‘ moments.
If you haven’t had chance to read through the entires, pop over to the challenge page and read through this week’s submissions.
As usual, you’ve been voting for your winner for 24hrs and the winners of this week’s Six Word Story challenge are:
First place goes to ron877 with her story – ‘Charged, Impeached, Convicted. Gone At Last!’
Second place goes to Claire howe with her story – ‘Finally he hurt like I had’
Third place goes to eklastic with her story – ‘He couldn’t be a Rolling Stone.’
The winners get to download and use one of these highly prized badges for their blog.
As always, thank you for taking part. There will be a new prompt published for you on Saturday morning at 9am GMT!
Until tomorrow Storytellers.
